Billie Piper is an English Singer and Actress. She was born on September 22, 1982 in Swindon in England to Paul and Many Piper. Billie's parents changed her original name "Leanne" into Billie three weeks after registering her birth. As a teenager she appeared on Saturday Morning Kids' Television Show, Scratchy & Co. Billie Piper studied at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Her debut single "Because we want to" reached the number one position in the UK in 1998. Also her follow-up single "Girlfriend" reached the number one position. In 2003 she ended her pop career and returned to acting. In 2005 she started playing the role of Rose Tyler in the television series Doctor Who. In 2001 she married the 16 year older millionaire and Radio DJ Chris Evens.
