Britney Spears Biography
Britney Jean Spears is an American Singer and Actress. She was born on December 2, 1981 in Kentwood, Louisiana, USA.
As a young child she follows several years gymnastics classes. After giving up on Gynnastics she found out that she had developed her dance skills and she competed in dance competitions.
As a teenager she starred on the Mickey Mouse Club together with Christina Aguilera, Kari Russell, JC Chasez, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake. After two years the show was canceled.
In 1999 her debut album "One More Time" was released. The Album was a huge success and included the big hits "Baby, One More Time", "Sometimes", "Crazy" and "Born To Make You Happy".
This album was followed by "Oops! I Did It Again", which was again a huge success and included the hits "Oops! I Did It Again", "Stronger" and "Lucky".
In 2001 the album "Britney" is released and in 2004 "In The Zone". The latest contains the duet with Madonna "Me Against The Music" and the ballad "Everytime".
Britney was also successful as an actress. In 2003 she stars in the comic drama Crossroads for which she sang the soundtrack "I'M Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman".
Britney dated Justin Timberlake between 1998 and 2002. In the beginning of 2004 Britney marries her longtime friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas. The marriage is canceled two days later. On September 18, 2004 she officially marries her background dancer Kevin Federline. In April 2005 she announces that she is pregnant. On 15 September of 2005 Britney's son Sean Preston is born. There were several rumours about problems in her marriage to Kevin Federline. However in 2006 Britney announces that she is pregnant of her second child.
In 2003 Britney performed live on stage with Madonna and Christina Aguilera the Madonna hit "Like A Virgin". During this performance both Britney and Christina kissed Madonna. This kiss incident let to a lot of controversy.
In 2004 Britney released the fragrance "Curious".
