Computer Animation Extravaganza | Year: 2000 Classification: Classics (Silents/Avant Garde) Actors/Actresses: - Odyssey-Mind's Eye Impressive collection of short computer animations This collection of sixteen short computer animation films is very impressive. My wife is an art major with an emphasis in graphics arts and she was also amazed at the quality of the animation. As someone who goes back to making images with the basic four colors and with pixels that looked like small dominoes, I paid very close attention to details such as the shadows, not only in the main, but also on faces and other small crevices. In most cases the details were there, closely mimicking life. Great club backron video I seen this video first at a club when a dj was spinning records. Not for KIDS! Disappointed... A few comments: has a scene in the beginning few clips full of very direct sexual connotation...lots of clips where the main character is killed or smashed. Two of the clips are available on a free sample video from 3dStudioMAX which I already had anyway. Poorly animated and textured clip about the passe little joke where a guy falls off a tower and hits the bucket full of tools on the way up, then it lands on him on the way down. A long boring clip about a primitive tribal alien clan. Over all...lots of filler stuff. A few decent renders and character setups, but don't waste your money!
