Lack of content does not equal a story

Questions and then more questions and too few answers. Watching the last part of this movie is like reading every other page in a novel and then wondering why the story seems devoid of relevant details.
While the movie has promise and the suspense is entertaining for awhile, the abrupt ending and nonsensical plot developments (if it can be called "plot") seem to bank on the notion that the viewer's imagination and confusion is all that this movie needs to build a conclusion. Unfortunately this bank is empty. There is no pay off to any time or thought invested in trying to figure out what you've seen. You might as well debate other worldy topics without answers or conjecture about movie sequels that have not yet been written, because Disappearance definately will not have one.

Couldn't have been any better

When I first saw this movie, I didn't think much of it, other than it had two of L.A. laws 2 best actors, and that the plot sounded good and scary. I realized that this should have been on the big screen long before it came out on t.v. When a family takes a trip through New Mexico and decides to make a small stop in an old deserted town, their visit is more than small. When the car has "mysteriously" disappeared, they know that things aren't excactly in the norm. Things are found that should have been just left alone, such as a skin nailed to a wall, a video tape of the previous visitors, four fresh graves, a circular symbol, an old mine, even a ground zero to the Neutron Device. All of the above will send chills up your spine, never knowing what is after this family, one things for sure, there's more then one of them. Though some people make think this is a horrible movie just because of the ending are wrong. If you like to be scared, it's what you can't see that scares people.<BR>A movie with a 5 star plot, and 5 star acting make this a great buy for your movie collection.

Diappearance

This movie was great! I loved it! The first time I saw it I was really hooked throughout the whole movie, but I thought the ending was bad. But after I watched again I really liked the ending. It really made me think. I wanted to watch it again and again to figure out the mystery.
