The Walhello search engine is the tool to search for information on the Internet. You can search by inputing keywords into the search engine.
Keywords must be seperated by spaces. The Walhello search engine is not case sensitive. Walhello supports the following regular search options: television soap 90210 - All keywords must be found on the web page television soap -90210 - The minus indicates that the word should not appear on the page "television soap 90210" - The quotes indicate that the exact string must be found television OR soap OR 90210 - The OR indicates that one of the words must be found on the webpage 90210 +is - The + indicates that the common word must not be ignored The number of results can be reduced by entering more keywords. Via the languages drop down box you can restrict the search results to pages written in a certain language.In the Advanced search section you can define in addition: - the maximum proximity between the keywords - whether the keywords must appear in the right sequence - the domain extension (.com, .de, org, and so on) where the results must be found Walhello only shows the web page with the highest ranking on a certain domain. If there are more hits on a certain domain, this is indicated via the sentence "other pages found on this website" If you press on the domain you will get the other hits. If a web page contains audio, video or pictures, this is indicated in the search results via multimedia files and the type of files found. If you click on the filetype you will only get web pages matching your search query and containg the specified file type. If a page shown between the search results does not exist anymore (dead links) you can still read a snapshot of the page by clicking on "more from cache". Within the audio/video and picture search section you can search for pages containing pictures or multimedia. |
