Hired Heart | Year: 1997 Classification: Drama Directed: - Jeremy Paul Kagan The Hired Heart - one of my all-time favorites! I saw The Hired Heart on our lifetime TV channel and LOVED IT! I was in the mood (as I am most times) for a happy, uplifting movie with romance AND good ending, and this filled the bill for me. Enter - a girl who is a doctor in a small town. She is forever hounded by her entire town to let them help her "find a husband." Her idea to "HIRE" someone to be that person on a totally platonic level for one week - well, that caught my eye right away. The process of their relationship becoming more than just a hired heart was a total pleasure to watch. I highly recommend this movie to all movie-lovers who enjoy "a chick-flick" with a happy ending.
