Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events | Year: 2004 Directed: - Brad Silberling Actors/Actresses: - Jim Carrey - Meryl Streep - Jude Law Looks Just as Great as the Books! I have read all of the books in the series, and I love them! I'm pretty sure that I'll enjoy the movie a lot. I just hope that Jim Carrey isn't too silly. Count Olaf is supposed to be pure evil! Of course, Jim Carrey is a great actor and I think he can pull it off. Please don't dissapoint me! series of unfortunate events i have read all 10 books i know this movie will be great beacause lemony snicket(daniel handler) touches my heart ( in a sad way) with funny ,depressing , moving words that touch childrens` hearts and souls AWESOME this movie follows the books very well and is a very exciting, adventure.
