Delightful family fare

Stuart Little is the middle Little, he also happens to be a very well-dressed mouse. In this sequal, Stuart is struggling to find friends and interests that suit his special situation. He finds a friend and adventure and the lessons learned are valuable for other little people (like kids, perhaps) who feel the world is structured for people larger than them.
I'm in love with the look of this film; the colors and textures delight the eye. Nathan Lane is back as Snowbell, and he gives a perfect comic performance. The story draws you in and holds the attention of even the most fidgety toddler and the most jaded parent. The characters are sympathetic and likable. Unfortunately, these qualities are missing in too many movies meant for children. This is a rare case where the sequal is actually better than the original. If you liked Stuart Little, you will love Stuart Little 2.
The film is rated PG but my three-year-old daughter did not find it too scary. It's themes of friendship, family and finding a place that fits make it a worthy addition to your family movie library.

Fun sequel for kids of all ages

George (Jonathan Lipnicki) falls out with Stuart (voiced by Michael J Fox) after Stuart takes an unexpected joyride in George's model airplane and ends up wrecking it. As a result George's annoyance at Stuart sees Stuart having to risk driving home from school alone. As Stuart says often in the movie, this just goes to prove every cloud has a silver lining as he ends up meeting a young bird named Margalo (voiced by Melanie Griffith) who crashes into his car while being stalked by the evil Falcon (voiced by James Woods).
Stuart is thrilled to have found a new friend, especially one who is the same size as him; so whle she is injured Stuart takes her home and the Littles let her stay with them while she mends. But in fact it turns out Margalo is actually faking injury in order to aid Falcon in stealing from the Littles. But of course, their friendship prevails as always happens in G rated movies.
STUART LITTLE 2 has effects which surpass its predecessor, and is an enjoyable family film. The Politically Correct will no doubt have problems with the "theft" angle in the story but really, these people don't seem to have any purpose in their lives unless they have something frivolous to moan about. Ignore them and just enjoy the movie.

ARE YOU TWO STILL FRIENDS OR CAN I EAT HIM

I loved Stuart Little 2-it was so cute and funny!
Stuart Little 2 is about Stuart and how he loves being part of the Little family-he goes to school-but when he is driving home one day a bird falls in his car-and her name is Margalo-Stuart and this bird become fast friends-but theres a side to Margalo that Stuart doesnt see-she is a con artist working for an evil falcon who will make sure that he gets Mrs.Littles ring-and he will stop at nothing to get it!
One of my favorite characters was Monty-probably because Steve Zhan was his voice!
The voice talents were:
Stuart Little-Micheal J.Fox
Snowbell-Nathan Lane
Monty-Steve Zahn
Falcon-James Woods
Margalo-Meline Griffth
I also have the soundtrack-and its great-especially that one song by Celine Dion called Im Alive!
I would reccomend this movie to anyone who loves animals and wants to watch something cute!
I thought that it was even better and cuter then the first one!

Did I like this better than the original?

Maybe...I'd have to watch the first one again. But I do know that is one of the precious few sequels that lives up to its predecessor. Stuart Little 2 is an absolutely adorable movie for the whole family and group of friends. It's cute, it's funny, it's kinda sweet. It's not too long, but if the story had been drawn out longer than 80 minutes it might have gotten tedious and dull. Perhaps they were wise in keeping it short.
Everyone thinks Stuart is too small to do anything himself. His mother treats him like a baby, and his brother is too busy playing with his friends to play with him. Snowbell the cat, hilariously voiced by Nathan Lane, is still getting used to living peacefully with a mouse. Then Stuart meets a canary named Margalo and helps her fix her hurt wing. The two become good friends, and Stuart finally has someone his own size who understands him. But like always, there's a catch. Margalo is working for the evil Falcon, voiced by James Woods, an excellent bad guy as always. (In fact, this role is somewhat similar to Hades from "Hercules.") Falcon wants Mrs. Little's super-valuable ring, and Stuart doesn't know that the whole thing is a scam for Margalo to steal it. But in the end, Margalo joins the side of good, and everything works out. She flies south for the winter...but like Stuart says, she'll be back in the spring.
Stuart Little 2 is an enjoyable film with something for everyone. I'll definitely be buying this one when it comes out.
