Sweet Home Alabama | Actors/Actresses: - Reese Witherspoon - Josh Lucas - Patrick Dempsey - Candice Bergen - Andy Tennant Love it! I just finished watching Sweet Home Alabama and I just fell in love with it! Reese Witherspoon is great in this movie and has all the things every girl loves. Melanie is a rising fashion designer in New York who becomes engaged to Andrew, New York's mayor's rich and attractive son. Since she is ashamed of her background, she goes alone to Alabama to face her past, where she tries to make her husband, Jake (I LOVE YOU JOSH LUCAS!!!) sign the divorce papers. When he refuses to sign them, Melanie slowly realizes that the background that she had been trying so hard to hide had been the right place for her all along. Who does she choose in the end? I'm not going to tell you (Even though it's probably obvious from the way I've been describing the story, hehe), but Sweet Home Alabama kept me guessing all the way until the VERY END, which I loved so much. The music is really cool too, even though I've never been a huge fan of country music. Everyone's accents in the movie was pretty cool too! I definitely recommend this movie to everyone, it's a must-see!!! Where the skies are so blue... This movie shows you that no matter how far you go, you can never forget your roots.
