Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III | Year: 1993 Classification: Action/Adventure Directed: - Stuart Gillard Actors/Actresses: - Elias Koteas - Paige Turco Age and grace Well the turtles have grown up a bit more and have matured a lot. After defeating the Shredder and the foot they now find themselves practicing ninjitsu all day everyday. That will all come into play when they find themselves in ancient feudal japan coming face-to-face with a Samurai war lord and a war happy pirate named Walker. The turtles mission isn't simple. Travel back in time, save April and get back home before "time" is up. Things just don't go as planned and throughout the movie they bump heads with samurai warriors. The turtles had no intention of fighting but when it came time they moved like ninja turtles do. I love the fight scenes in this movie. It was quick and simple. Though at the same time the turtles moved with speed and grace. It wasn't that the samurai couldn't fight it was just that the turtles fought better. They got their weapons back in this movie and used them accordingly. Every move they made was unbeleivable. It was nothing like the first two movies. Plus instead of laying down like the foot soldiers, these samurai persisted in fighting just like real samurai. The scenery was beautiful throughout the whole movie. I think that the Splinter puppeteering could have been much better than it was and they could have added more to the ending than what they did. All in all the turtles are back and it's major league but kicking time. All turtle fans will enjoy this one. 2002 CGI will animate them under the direction of John Woo. STILL FUNNY! THIS MOVIE IS NOT SO BAD AS EVERYONE SAID IT WAS. IT'S A GREAT MOVIE WHICH HAS EVERYTHING AND IS'NT AS BORING AS THE FIRST TWO. IT'S A GREAT MOVIE! So what if it's not the first movie, It's still good! People complained over and over about how bad this movie was, well now I've finally got to see it again after 10 years! I loved it when I was seven and I love it even more now! This movie was NOT a bad movie,In fact I feel this one was nearly as good as the first film, much lighter and goofier but it still deserves second place. This was much better than the second movie to me. The first movie was dark, serious, and great! The second film was okay but came across as a bit too goofy at times to me(But I still loved it!^-^) and the third movie was, like another customer said, a combo of the two. And as for the animatronics...I didn't see anything wrong with them, they looked exacally like the second movie costumes with better facial expressions! Do I reccommend this movie? Hell yeah! It's not as good as the first movie but that doesn't make it a bad film. Some customers here have said that the storyline is too farfetched for the TMNT-verse, and again I disagree. The comics, old toon, and the brilliant new toon have all taken the fans of the series to new places. In fact I believe this movie was loosly based on a Michealangelo comic from the Mirage series, the one where Mikey writes this little story about him being in ancient Japan and helping people there. Anyway, I'll end my review here. I loved this movie and I'm sure most Ninja Turtles fans will enjoy it too.
