Thunderheart | Year: 1992 Classification: Action/Adventure Directed: - Michael Apted Actors/Actresses: - Robert De Niro - Val Kilmer - Sam Shepard Stunning cinematography, superb story and great acting This is one of the best movies I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Val Kilmer, who many people don't like for his flaky characters, proves here and elsewhere that he is truly s meant to be sincere? Was the dialogue unoriginal on purpose? Was the direction decively devoid of cleverness? There was no sense of irony that could redeem this film. But worst of all - this Sci-Fi "action" flick was....BORING. Bottom line - this movie is so bad, it's just plain bad. But the bigger bottom line - How these people still get hired to make this?
